On December 14th, 2002, the www.CustomTacos.com (http://www.CustomTacos.com) family will be meeting at Fontana Raceway. Anyone and everyone is welcome including girlfriends, wives or you bros. The cost is $10.00 per person to enter Fontana Raceway and $10.00 if you wish to race your truck in the quarter mile. Remember that to race you need to be wearing long legged pants. Many of the members will be running their Tacomas for fun and the experience. Please read ALL directions for any information that may help you out.

We will be meeting at the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes, it is an Epicenter parking lot that should be plenty big enough to accommodate all of us Tacomas.

<font color="red">We will be meeting at 6:00 - 6:30 in the morning at the Epicenter, so please arrive on time so we can all roll into the Raceway as a group and avoid any traffic and crowds.</font color>

From the South (San Diego)

-Get on the 15 North and drive, drive and drive.
-Exit 2nd/Foothill Blvd Route 66, exit past the 10 Freeway.
-Turn left onto Foothill Blvd. And you should be heading West.
-Go down Foothill Blvd. 2 lights to Rochester.
-On Rochester make a left.
-Continue on Rochester for 2 blocks to Stadium Parking on the right side of the road.
-Turn right into Stadium Parking lot and look for all the Tacomas looking beautiful!!

From Los Angeles, Orange County

-Take all Routes to the 10 Freeway East.
-Exit to the 15 Freeway North
-Exit Foothill Blvd. Route 66.
--Turn left onto Foothill Blvd. And you should be heading West.
-Go down Foothill Blvd. 2 lights to Rochester.
-On Rochester make a left.
-Continue on Rochester for 2 blocks to Stadium Parking on the right side of the road.
-Turn right into Stadium Parking lot and look for all the Tacomas looking beautiful!!

Well guys, I am not going to Santa Cruz that weekend after all due to Christamas and needing money for the gifts so my women and I have decided to postpone this and doit another weekend so I will now be going. I talk to Ahmad(SRUNNER) and I will hopefully pick him up so that he can be apart of this and feel the love from all of us customtaco members regarding his loss this week! So I plan on running my truck and hopefully getting down to a 15 even this weekend. Will see.....

There's quite a few campgrounds about 20 minutes north of the Speedway, never been to them, but I could look into it! I don't do any fishing but a few friends of mine do, but they normally just get wasted and pass out in the boat, they don't really catch anything. http://www.CustomTacos.com/ubbthreads/images/icons/smile.gif

Hey all, my plans changed a bit. I couldn't leave last night cuz I called ODOT (oregon department of transportation) before I left for a road condition report and they said that there was alot of black-ice in the passes on the oregon side of I-5 http://www.CustomTacos.com/ubbthreads/images/icons/frown.gif , so I decided to play it safe and wait til this morning. I might just make it.....Does anyone know if they do nitrous refills up at fontana? I need to borrow someones AN wrenches as well. I need to get my bottle undone and so far I have been unsuccessful..(think I put it on there too tight...lol)....Truck threw a light today for the first time in 4 months..wierd that right after I have my tranny flushed at the stealer this happens??? Truck is dirty as hell and zip tied together with a freshly installed tranny cooler but I'm highly considering driving up there even though I don't get off work until 12am tonight...we'll see

Yeah, what was the Gia running? Also, what about the red single cab tac w/ the huge intercooler up front? Did jerry run against him at all?

naw i didn't get to race him...his best was a 15.1 i think with mad traction problems though...hopefully next time he will have tires and we can grudge....he had a t3/t4 turbo and everything was very very clean.....man he relocated the front leaf hanger back and up to lay frame and it looks very very clean gonna have to copy him....he isn't on the site yet but reads from here...he said he just found it and saw the meet and met at the quakes stadium at 630.....i had a blast everyone and ran pretty good......glad everyone made it like they said.....waitin to hear from proteus to make sure he made it home this morning at 900am or so.....he left my house at 12 noon sunday....

I'm alive, and my truck is fine. I ran into some BAD weather around 2am in Weed, CA... and I had to park it for the night and wait out the storm. Lightning, gusty wind, hail, the works... the power even got knocked out at the gas stations and rest area. I even had to chain up to make it past shasta... the return trip was WAY grueling. But it was SOOOO worth it! It was awesome to finally meet everyone and see some badass tacos! Fontana was a blast. Big Thanx to Revhard6 for dinner in sacramento, big thanx to Douglas711 for lunch at the meet, big thanx to Jerry and Robin for putting up with me for a couple nights! http://www.CustomTacos.com/ubbthreads/images/icons/grin.gif Big thanx to Teeque for hookin up the rims and all the info, geez i know I need to thank a zillion other peeps but i'm about to pass out i'm so tired, so forgive me. Jerry, slight problem with the throttlebody spacer studs... 2 of em are too short. would you mind sending a couple along with that resistor for the TB coolant bypass? Thanx a mil bro!

and for the ghia, it made some passes doing stand stills but my friend told me that it took some 10-11second passes thing was tubbed.

proteus just to mention check first because i think you have the bolts reversed......the throttle body had a thicker wall on he top then the bottom.....switch those screws around and see if they fit now???? i am pretty sure they are the right screws cuz they were measured but let me know if im wrong.....

Lizeth, JB was mainly talking about people jumping from the bridge, not cars going over. In fact in the 23 years I've lived in SD I don't know that a car has ever gone over that I know of. I had a blast that weeeknd!! I didn't get the times I was hoping for, but was only running my fm40 and header. Next time, I'll be there with my intake installed too. It was nice meeting everyone and thanks to those that drove hundreds of miles to the meet.
