New Tire Advice (2005+ Regular Cab; 15X?)

Hey all I'm looking for some recommendations regarding a new set of tires...

My Car:
05 Tacoma, 2WD Reg. Cab, 2.7 L 164 HP, etc...

Wheels:
Stock Destination LE's on the stock 15" steel wheel

Goal:
-Keep original 15" wheels
-Get new tires (up to $75-100 per tire - flexible)

What I need in the tires:
-A little bit beefier (get the car sitting up a little higher), the stock tires just don't do the new Tacoma justice
-A little more geared toward multiuse (there's a lot of highway/road driving but also a significant amount of towing 1500-2000 lb trailer loaded w/ boats sometimes on dirt roads - need a reliable tread for towing in not so perfect conditions but want to maintain a decent gas mileage)
-Need a little more grip on the road in general then I have now

Can anyone make suggestions? Even suggestions outside of these parameters would be awesome.

Thanks,
Matt

Maybe run a slightly wider/taller tire like a 225 75 15..

If I have the right truck you have in mind, stock is a 215-70-15 tire?

So the difference is that when your speedometer sais your doin 60mph, you actuall speed is 63.2mph. Mite add a little gas milage as well?

225 75 15

Its a common size tire and they arent too bad in price..

Goodyear wrangler sells for 88 per tire in www.tirerack.com (http://www.tirerack.com)
Had these on my Jeep and they lasted forever.. they saw about 45% offroad time when on my Jeep pickup.. decent on the road, not too loud..

Try lookin around on www.tirerack.com (http://www.tirerack.com) or www.tires.com (http://www.tires.com) to get some ideas.. :waytogo:
