I just ran across this while researching the new Xrunners as I may be getting one. I know that general consensus says the leer xrunner is ugly as :jawdrop:. Take a look at this rendering though. The color scheme makes it that much better. Leer should have stuck with the orange instead of the yellow.

They are both ugly but the rendering looks WAY better than the final product IMO

there is nothing ugly about an xrunner! the drawing is pretty nice even in orange - i think they could have picked a nicer color scheme though.

Agreed... both very ugly. But the actual truck FAR more so than the drawing.

both are not my taste (notice i didn't say ugly...hehehe) but the darker blue and orange does look better than that yellow

Too busy for my tastes. It might not look bad if it were only the black and the orange (with all the currently blue areas being black).

I say congrats to the guys who built the actual show truck... They were given a specification for a truly awful concept, and they went above and beyond .... :evil:

All I gotta say is, I would hate to be the guy to finally own that truck and make it on this forum...
Apparently there is nothing nice to be said about it... So hopefully no owner of that ever make it here...

What's wrong with you guys? I love that Leer truck!!
All it needs is a wing on the tonneau cover, a roll bar with lights and a bull front bumper. Sure to scare any deer off the road and save it's life...... muahahaha !!
