I know those things arent cheap! http://www.CustomTacos.com/ubbthreads/images/icons/frown.gif do you have a 2wd model or a 4x4? if you have the 4x4 you have alot of extra weight, and huge tires... you also have an 8" rear end which would allow many possibilities for gear ratios. also, in your profile it says you have a downey header and a flowmaster muffler... is the piping still stock? if so, that stock piping is pretty restrictive... if you were to put in bigger piping you would notice a power boost, especially with that supercharger! you could go with mendrel bent 2.5" piping from lc engineering, and maybe one of their high-flow cats too... even 2.5" standard pinch bent piping would make a difference. just my two cents... good luck!
slamdtaco 10-17-2002, 07:29 AM the 2.4 is no speed demon by any means, at least in stock form. see my post in the performance forum. I went to the track last night and ran a best of 17.19@80.22mph. My truck is stock. I'm getting the s/c installed soon and will go back to the track afterwards to see what a difference it really makes. I thought the truck would run mid 16s based on how it feels. I'm guessing it should run low 16s after the s/c install. I'll find out soon enough.

Are you lost or something man? Japanese vehicles are rated at the wheels, not the crank and Toyota says it does 145HP stock. That means 145 at the wheels, I dynoed it to be sure- maxxed out at 144.83 which is close enough (it rounds off to 145). A supercharger will give you way more than an extra 5HP. Your O2 sensors were probably shot.

I beg to differ. 145hp...to the crank... trust me on this. Also; the 2rz supercharger wont give you much... and 150rwhp sounds about right. There a guy on here that has one and doesn't even get to 160rwhp, and he has a ton of fuel mods, etc...

this is random but ever notice chevy guys tend to respect toyotas for what they are and agree there good trucks just not their preference, where as ford guys from my experience down here always seem to think there sh!t is the best out there... when its just facts that fords break more than anything.... i think the only reason ford sells the most trucks is the ford guys dont want to admit their wrong so every time there sh!t breaks they have to go get a new one lol
