electric fan

for those of you who have this, was it hard to install, feel any hp or any othr chages?

and what brand is it, flex-a-lite

I got one, but i guess i doesn't count because of my hood.

Beezer, your hood is dope, you know that or you wouldn't have bought it, as far as what anyone else thinks...who cares, it's your truck! VA Burnt, you don't like it, and that's cool too, to each his own, but guys come on, we're all here for the same reason, we love Tacoma's and want to help out other people in exchange for access to the same right? This is just my opinion as well, nobody has to listen to it, so no flaming back please, I just thought this had all settled down already.

Hey A$$hole, how about you calm the f'ck down. why do people act stupid on this damn site, it's about trucks, not the size of your dick! If you aren't here to talk about trucks, and that does NOT mean stealing them, then get the f'ck out!

Heres what I did. I went down to my local offroad store and got a 18 inch spal curved blade fan. Nothing came with the fan so I had to buy a temp. controlled switch and the brackets to hold the fan. I mounted the fan in the exact same place as the stock fan using the mount bolts which hold the fan shroud in place. This way i didn't have to cut the shroud just to make the fan fit. Also the reason for an 18 incher, is becasue the tacomas have big radiators and you want the fan to cover at least 75% of it. With the switch, it has a probe you push through fins in the radiator, relatively close the upper radiator hose. The switch I got is adjustable, so on the freeway the fan turns off, and then turns one when i get off and the radiator starts to warm up. Check out the pics to see what I'm talking about.
