X runner GETTING LOTS of attention

I went to the MONSTER JAM event on SATurday at anaheim stadium. The X was getting lots of attention. From kids to chicks to grown men. Might of been since i drove in there Bumbping my JL audios subs. I was one of the first to drive in there and we kicked back in the parking lot before the event peeps where coming up asking what kind of truck that was. I let them know its a toyota X runner. They where asking about my wheels i had barely recieved my rims and wheels from this company online the day before. 24inch DeModa Authority black rims to go with my SPEEDway blue truck and all limo tint windows. Guys ill try to get a digital camera over the weekend so i could post some pics. You guys have to get this rims if your trying to make your truck look hot. But performance wise these rims are maybe to big and heavy for those who want the X for performance.But if your looking to get noticed in your BRAND new X this rims would do the trick. I hope it is for the whole set, the website isn't very clear. I agree anything over 20's are overkill. Nothing like bending a rim on a pothole due to not having enough rubber on the rim. Must be like driving around without power steering also.

Like i said i did it for Style and looks most of the peeps coming up to me at the event didnt even know what kind of truck it was or brand. Im glad i purchased the truck got a real good deal 21,120 at el cajon toyota after holding out at ORANGE toyota. ORANGE toyota wanted to push me into buying the red or black X from them but I wouldnt go for it and i found a speedway blue down in el cajon.Those 2 trucks still sitting at Toyota of orange as of yesterday. I got the truck because its a truck that you wont see on the road that often not like my previous car 99 CIVIC Si dont get me wrong the civic owned hella lots of mods on it good little car but everyone has one from grannys to high school kids. Sure the X is known and was made for performance but it hella looks good too. especially know like i said ill be at ANAHEIM stadium on the 29th for that second MOSTER JAM even probably be parked in the front of the main entrance. ill try to get a camera or have some take some pics for me to post on here.Lates

Trust me its possible come see for your self on the 29th at anaheim stadium before moster jam event.Its riding on a real expensive low profile tire similar to this. Its almost as thin the low profile tires on A SCION Xb if any of you see the tire on that. It was a Credit union purchase paid the dealer cash 21,120. i should be able to pay half of the truck off with my income tax that are coming up. No one's really sure when the TRD kit is coming out. Some people are saying 6 months, others saying never. Rotora is making a kit and they're coming out with it soon.

So I'm assuming you got the rims at cost. That's still a pretty penny and had to be close to 9 or 10 grand.

pretty penny indeed not letting girlfriend drive this truck. my girlfriend F-up my economy car my Si. i had just purshased some 18" on it and she took it to del toco to get some food while she was driving up to the drive thru she scrapped the curve. other accidents like those happen later on the worst one was she hit a dip or a hole im not sure what it was anyways the driver side tire and rear tire blew out and she drove home about 2 miles while scrapping and tearing up the custom wheel , Her excuse was she said she didnt know the neighborhood so she continued driving this was at night. So you know this B!tCh aint driving the X

People who pay with cash usually get a higher sell price but thats all they're paying...

The over all is cheaper, but the "price" you put online for all your friends to see is a bit lower if you're financing through dealerships...

The 13" kit w/4 piston calipers are 2,095.00 I'm getting an answer on the 14" kit w/6 piston calipers in a few hours. However if you want any bigger the prices jump up considerably.
The biggest you can get is 16" with 8 piston. You can also get 15" with 6 or 8 piston.

Different colors are available as well. And all kits come with everthing needed and stainless steel brake lines.

BTW what size tire are you running? Do they rub at all?

I have been getting lots of compliments on my XRunner from people. It is a very nice looking truck and it seems that people really like it.

I can tell you for sure, that it is not worth a DAMN in the snow and ice. I just finished a 10 hour trip in the DC area snow storm and I had a white knuckle grip the whole time. It is currently stuck in my own driveway after all that way.

I have noticed another problem. What is with these guys that have these Chevy SS full size pickups???? Everytime I pass one of those trucks the drivers go nuts and start swearving all over the place, tailgate me, pull up along side and start goosing it then speeding off and slowing down and starting the whole thing all over again. What is up with these guys??? It is like they are super jealous or something. I think those trucks are nice and nice looking, but it is a totally differnt type of truck. I got what I wanted and they got what they wanted, why do they have to act this way? It has happened about 4 times now. All of them have been blue SS trucks.

Any ideas??

I know toyota of orange has 2 x runners sitting there i could even tell you what color they are RED and BLACK. How do i know because i was the one who posted that lol. My friend works there as a sell person i was about to buy the red one but i backed off because it was red and the payment was way to high and 72 months. they kept calling me sales manager called me and he said he would give me a good deal i think he told he would drop the price down to 21500 dont recall i have to go back and check the previous post i posted. But if i was going to pay so much for a truck it would be only for the truck and color that i wanted so hold off. i ended up getting a better deal at el cajon toyota and with my credit union help i got a speedway blue model. Tire size i go look right now!!

Mine is definately the passenger seat. If someone is sitting in it there is no rattle. If I grab it and pull the back rest toward me it does not rattle.

Cam2 do us all a favor and measure the distance from your hub center to the fender trim and wheel well. This will put this douch bag thread to rest. If its a 295/35/R24 then its 32.13" in diameter and a 295/30R24 is exactly 31" in dia. So we need at least 15.5" to even make it fit and that means its sitting on the firewall.

I don't really want to attend the event, just want to check out your truck.....so what time does this thing start, can I get in to check out your truck without having to pay for an entrance fee, and what time do you plan on being there? a guy that i work with says he gets back over $10k a year. he has 11 kids with number 12 in the oven. every time his old lady pops out another kid he gets more back. ontop of the $10k+ tax return, he makes over $60k a year and pays only about $100 a week in taxes

Dam so many sharks around. I got my truck back from dealer they couldnt find what was causing the noise in the cab. They fixed that problem with the bed doesn't make any noise anymore. Well tomorrow ill be infront of the main gate around 6:00 in the parking lot way before the event. Event starts at 7:30 it wont be hard to find me you wont have to attend the event .Wait the i think they do charge for parking. I want to see a link to some place that sells that tire size. I tried searching, but the only two pages I found were someone talking on a forum abut hypothetical tire sizes, saying that if you increase the diameter, the sidewall percentage goes down, so he was just guesstimating tire sizes by math. I've yet to find an actual tire in that size. Tried searching /ZR24, /WR24, /24, etc. as the last number.

i did it all myself, the motor bolts right to the rear seat mounts. with the skill of a jewel cutter i removed all of the muffler bearings and replaced them with oversized knibbler pins thus giving me 13 inches of lift. next the floor boards of the cab and bed were removed causing me to wonder where i was gonna sit. i had to remove the blinker fluid resevoir to make room for the added oversized schitmetzen sprocket with a BFmaxemizer rear drive shaft. i was able to use the stock bolts saving me much money and time. next i went to work on the transfer case putting it in a vise and streatching it to size. i was able to find a kurtz chain and hanger set which i picked up at a yard sale years before. it is very important to use the right size chain when hanging the front drive shaft. having fabricated the chassis by hand i now went to work melting two copper pots so i could make a set of conductive washers which i attached all my ground cables to. having completed this phase, i caled American Racing Rims for a quote on 3 matching rims, i had one which i had purchased some years before. after seeing the end product i decided to photoshop the project

here's an 05/06 with 24s, but it's a prerunner/4x4 and he had to lift the front 1 1/2" to fit them, but he has huge tires.

They now make a 255/25/24 which is about the same size as a 265/35/22 so it could fit with that tire on an XR.:waytogo:
