I went to the yoda dealership today to attempt to test drive a x.... they said I have to buy one before I can test it out. Have fun with it and take LOTS of pics. get money back if it has mroe then 5 mi on it.

I asked if they had any s-runner or x-runner on the lot that I could test drive, the dude said "whats an s-runner now, do you mean x-runner?" about that time I walked out the door. Im about to go to first team toyota and test drive that thang if they still got it. I wana drive one soo bad.

Have you ordered your Zaino yet? You're gonna want to claybar that thing right away, mine had a bunch of rail dust on the roof and on the front bumper. You can get some mothers claybar at any autozone, kragen etc.

I'm probably gonig to do one layer, then find a place to do clear coat... Probably a paint / body shop...
I'm going to ask the clan to help out with the Zaino LOL... I ain't doing this truck alone...

I don't think spraying over Zaino would be a good idea. Once you get to about 6-9 coats your paint is pretty well protected. I haven't noticed too much paint chipping like everyone is talking about. And I put the Zaino on the same day I got the truck.

My dad has the clear coat done to his 91 camry...
you can't find a chip if you tried... the paint was also smooth as ice for 13 years each time it was washed with just soap... Lets just say the car blinged like your XR did 13 years old...

If you are going to put another clearcoat, then make sure you wash it with Dawn and claybar the hell out of it. Then wash it with dawn again. Then have it sprayed with clearcoat. After they do the clear coat, then apply the Zaino, not Zaino first.

The good thing is that a single spray will last for the life of the car pretty much seeing as how my camry held up... Zaino can build up in cost over the years...
