whats the dif between that supercharger and a regular turbo they look the dame to me

A turbo is exaust driven, where as the supercharger is belt driven. However they both use very similiar impellers to compress the air. On the s/c boost is limited to the pulley size, since it will only rotate so many rpm in relation to the crank turning it, and a turbo will spin MUCH faster, allowing for more boost.

I just want to know in what ballpark are the $ figures going to look like?

Wiring, distribution blocks, already have but figure 150 tops
Alternator and batteries 600 tops

Intercooled procharger kit, site lists it as 5299.00

Rear sliding window upgrade? Probably 400-500
Auto dimming mirror, already have
Tinit 100 bucks

Snuglid tonneua cover 700 bucks.
Phillips HID conversion 500 bucks.


Came out to 21,300 give or take 200 bucks plus the cost of the front brakes. So about as much as the truck with taxes and shipping on everything. Everything will be installed myself so no charge for labor.

Seriously, if you're planning to put that kinda bread on the truck, don't drive it hard... Make it a show truck and win yourself some throphies... At least try to get SOME of that $$ back http://www.CustomTacos.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

It will be a show truck but I'm going to drive it almost everyday as well. I plan on doing everything myself including the fiberglass work for the sub and the amp enclosure. With the exception of the paintwork for the enclosure. I like the paint color as it is now so I'm just going to keep a good shine on it with Zaino. I did forget to menton that I'm going to put a viper alarm with remote start as well as the module that makes the power windows auto up/down.

Can I pursue you to get a FEW special ones first? LOL... Mainly HID conversion and brakes http://www.CustomTacos.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

If HID can be done with that price, then that is probably going to be my first mod... I can't bare to see those HUGE light housings goto waste with those weak halogens...

Back when I had my WRX, HID kits cost like 1K and up... $500 or so is so much more resonable..

Centrifugal super chargers and turbos look the same. A roots blower bolts right on top of the engine.

Centrifugals get mounted as seen in the link you saw that cam provided.
