i noticed since i got the truck it makes a ticking sound, that is proportional with rpm. at idle i opened the hood, sounds like injector tick, maybe a loose header? anyways you can hear it driving, and it ver noticable when you are outside the truck while it is idling. ill look into it more tomarrow with my dad, just seeing if anyone else noticed this.....sure as heck isnt going to the dealership right now......

I hear the same noise on all the 4.0's at work such as the 4runner and the 05 tundra v6. My x-runner has it slightly too.
