x-runner tripple digit sound???

i was wondering if any other x-runners make this this sound, it starts at aprx. 110MPH anytime i go over 110MPH it makes this noise, and when i drop down below 110MPH it stops.

it's like a weird whine coming from the front passanger side wheel area and it's bugging the hell out of me.

also i was wondering what it feels like when you hit ur speed limiter?
in the XR at aprx. 130MPH (5,000RPM's in 5th gear) the truck just won't accel any more.

with any other car/truck i've had, when i get to the speed limiter, it cuts off and the car slows down 5MPH then the car comes back to life, yet with the X-runner it just stops accelerating, does not cut off.

I'm wondering about the last straight at Leguna Seca... Would 130 be a problem there? Ironic how I am actually concerned about track performance LOL...

130 might be tough a that track i would be worried about the first turn. Whoa....the brakes....

well I belive i took mine to 130, (fear having no spedo and no dash) it was 5 grand in 5th, it was my 97 std cab taco... maybe it is engine whine? mine does it alot, I dont know why though... when you hit your speedlimiter you will know it... it FEALs like some one slamed on the breaks, but all it does is basicly put it turn your rpms from what ever it is to 0. so I guess in a way it is slaming on the breaks. it doesnt like stay there at the speed, it hits it and then your about 20 under what you were at. so wait the x runners run out of beans at 130 from drag but you got your 2.4 up that high.........damn............

Seriously, if hitting 130 at the track seems hard to do, then what are you folks all doing hitting 130 on public roads? I mean if you want to test it out one time then I guess a lot of people are curious enough to try, but once you've been there... Where are you going exactly that requires anything above 130?

I'm not going to go on sounding like someone's mom or anything, but 130 IMO is faster than any speed I'll ever need... If anyone is bummed out finding the speed limiter around there, then they got some serious lead foot problem and really should take it slower or get something more suited to go above 130... These are still trucks afterall..

edit: I've always enjoyed hard acceleration... Never much the top speed... I rather get to 60 in 4 seconds than hit 200 after 2 minutes... But this is just me...

i got the urd speed unlimiter and ive had my S to about 130-135 before.. cant tell ya exactly a mph cuz it doesnt read that high.. but using the rpm calculation. its right around that neighborhood..
