Do you plan on still running the truck hard? That'll probably take away some of the performance aspects you paid extra for over a regular V6 Tacoma http://www.CustomTacos.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif
I'm getting a XR in about 2 weeks and plan on keeping the rims stock all the way around because of the full size spare... Would be a waste to not take advantage in having a spare you can slap on and drive hard once you're done changing... The only way I would change my rims would be a new brake kit so big the stock rims won't fit them... The brakes definately have to go on the XR... It's horrible..
My opinion in all its wothlessness: http://www.CustomTacos.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/puke.gif

I think it looks pretty good. I don't think it's something I would do if I had an X but looks okay nonetheless http://www.CustomTacos.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif
Unless they make them glow in the dark, those rims might not be as gold as in the pic...
They just fit the wheel wells so good... Damn I wish I had a way to sell some organs for 20s...
Edit: Cam2XRunner, at least take time out to make the rears drums http://www.CustomTacos.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif Would be one awesome overhaul tho if you did get rotors with your 20"s... Although those look 19...

Well, I know some of you are going to flame me for wanting to put 22's on the X, but it's been decided, and it's been ordered, and I expect to have the rims in about a 4 - 6 weeks! I orderd a set of "IForged" multi-piece custom wheels. 22 x 8.5 all the way around. Front wheels were ordered to clear a BBK kit. Should look pretty sweet! That's my opinion of course, and I don't expect everyone to share the same(which is cool). I really wanted to go with 20's, but they just looked way too small for my taste. I think that the 22's are going to fill up the fender wells just about right. Here's a few pics of the tires next to the truck. 265/35/22 Kumho ecsta STX's.
