Anyone know if those are the stock X-Runner wheels and if they'll fit our S-Runners? Tires look like 255/45 18 (?) They have a Toyota OEM look to them, but look pretty sweet in flat black.

I drove the only x-runner in existance and it is a sweet truck, It was quick and nice truck. My only problem was when i was driving it i would get the shifter stuck between 1st and 2nd where you have to push over for reverse. but thats only when trying to go fast.

Well i just saw my first 05 taco on the road last night, I was cruzing down I-40 last night about 12:00 and i switched over to the center lane to go around a 02 or 4x4 taco, well as im goin around that i look in my rear veiw, and its full of damn headlights, i was like "where the hell did that come from, annnd those kinda look like what i think 05 taco head lights should look like at night." well we get past the 02 taco and it shootz up beside me, and low and behold its a shinny brand new black X, i like to have crapped my self, thats the last thing i expected to see last night. i didn't even know there were any of those on the right hand side of the map yet. if i see it out again i think i'll try to talk to the guy and check it out. I know on thing though im still not sure if im totally sold on the looks but the pictures of them don't do them justice, they look way better in person, it wasn't as huge as they look in the pictures. sorry for the rant, just thought it was cool and i had to tell somebody.

went ot my local dealership bout 20 mins ago after noticing a red supra with badges on the front qtr pannel on the way to a dinner.. well looked.. it was a n/a supra auto 15th year limited edition.. gay for a supra.. but still nice.. well this is my first time to actually see one in person up close and persona.. well my night was allready good.. saw some nice taco's for sale.. nothign too good.. went looking at new cars.. saw 10!!! new 05's all were prefunner or 4x4 except one.. grey plastic everywhere.. but 2.7liter 5 speed ... not bad.. so went to go away my girl see's 2 taco's in the back.. Sounds like you guys were somewhere around Greensboro/Asheboro area, man that is some pretty country down that way. My mom used to live in Asheboro so I know a few spots down there, and man you guys have some great roads to run on!
Anywho, the first time I saw the XR I was stupified too... They parked it right out side and I almost caused an accident rolling to a red... I kept my eyes on the road just the wong side... hehehe...
I'm surprised that truck didn't have a sign that said sold on it already... Not too many XRs hit the lot and stay there...
Glad however we have another person swayed by the XR which means Toyota in general is making a good jump forward with their trucks... Can't way for the next gen XR!!!

Yea. I was deadset on getting myself an X for the longest time, so that I could have a fun truck with ample potential to tide me over until I could snag an SRT-10. Can't go wrong with Toyotas. If anything, they run forever and suffer form very little depreciation.

That SRT-10 Quad for $48,000.00 is the "sticker" price. You then have to factor in tax, license and applicable financing charges. That's a fairly rare price, too, seeing as pretty much all dealerships have hiked up the prices of the SRTs due to "market adjustments" aka high demand of a vehicle with relatively low production.
I financed my SRT-10 for 72 months at 6.9%. My credit isn't exemplary, so I will refi in about a year and take care of some of the buttraping finance charges. I chose 72 months because I intend on keeping this truck indefinately, so why not pay as little as possible?
Plus, I'm 21 and starting out on my own, so I need as much extra cash right now as possible. Sure, buying my truck was the most condusive thing to saving money, but you only live once and I have wanted one of these beasts since the concept rumors first came out years and years ago. So, I snagged it. I would've liked to put some cash down, but I barely washed out even with my old truck.

True, it is infact possible to get one for that price... but guess how many dealers let them go for that? Very very few. Dealerships are in the business of making money, not making $500 here and $1000 there. Moving inventory is one thing, but moving limited production vehicles at little profit is another.
Sticker for me was $38,500.00. After tax and all applicable fees, it came out to ~$42k. Then financing cost me almost $10k. Again, I am going to refi and cut that in at least half, eventually eliminating my finance entirely. So, in essence, when all is said and done, I'm going to pay around $45k for my truck.
And I afford it at my age because I have my own mobile autobody business. I work my ass off 5-6 days a week painting and repairing bumpers, dying and reparing leather and vinyl, interior detailing and a whole gaggle of other things that I'm just too lazy to go into.
I have a couple but they are with water all over the truck. I'm waiting for this damn weather to get nice and pretty for me so I can take some nice pics. I spent a whole day detailing the living [censored] out of my truck and it rained later in the day. I was fuming. Washed it, treated the leather, applied a meticulous application of Meguir's 3-Step Deep Crystal and gave it the whole ten yards. Then it rained. ^%*&(&%^

Thanks bro! No I haven't yet. Getting used to the shift still. As much as I love Hurst shifters, it shifts very much like a freaking truck. AND, shifting into 3rd under full throttle is a pain in the ass. I've missed a shift twice. And that's saying alot for me. I haven't missed a shift in... [censored], 4 years. I owe it to all the arcade racing games at Chucky Cheeses! hahah

Thats what we used to do with i-club when I had the WRX... It makes a LOT of locals meet each other and open up many more meets this way...

i spotted a NEW speedway blue X RUNNER SPOTTED ON 210 freeway around 7:30. i thin the guy had barely got it because he has no plates just the dealer advertisement thing on the plates. Anyhow i was travelling WEST bound on the 210 freeway around FAIR OAKS EXIT when my bro spotted it in the # 2 lane i was travelling fast because i was in the carpool lane and there was alot of traffic i just got a good glimps of it. But i tried to slow down but that other X couldnt catch up because of heavy traffic. I just wanted to know if it was someone from this FORUMS if so you could confirm how my truck looks with those 24"s. I wont post any picks are mention my rims size on the X anymore because of SHARKS like KAUSS. Dont feel like getting attack in any form just because the rims slow down my truck not all of us got the truck because of its performance. some of us thing the truck looks great and not that many peeps have this truck since only 3500 where made you dont see them around that often or at all. All I'm saying is that that xB is the sickest xB to date... I'd trade my XR for it in a heart beat... It's a decked out DJ booth... 5Axis made that thing and the owner of 5Axis chatted with me about the creation of it... They had to do a ton of fab work, but I'd say the end result is worth it...
I like performance in a performance truck, but if you deck out anything correctly, I'd be jealous too...

Well, yet again it is another black XR... This so far is the only color I've seen... I seen this truck while I was going to work on my 2 mile drive haha, it was parked and had some weird badging all over it... Seems to be some company truck... What a company to work for if you get to goto work and drive around in a XR huh...
I would be in heaven knowing there is a XR waiting for me to drive around at work!!! Especially when it's another black one!!!
I'm dying to see a red or blue one in person now...

Man Ive seen like 4 different ones, 2 blues a black and a red. All are within the same neighborhood of me, just a few blocks away. First one I saw the guy bought it around the same time I got my dbl cab, since it was night I couldnt tell what it was since it was behind me but I thought..Hey those headlights look familiar and its alot lower than my truck, once it hit a light, I just saw that Speedway blue color but he turned when I looked in the rearview and straight into his garage. Seen him driving around a few times though.
