Im getting ready to get my rollpan and front bumper painted...should I go ahead and get my mirrors painted or leave it black? Thanks in advance!

I'm sure it will look nice. You could always wait to see what they will look like with the other things painted. You probably could do it cheaper yourself and have it look almost as good. Either way i think you'll probably regret not painting them when you get everything else painted.

Check out all the nice show trucks--about 99% of 'em have color-matched mirrors...

Also, you're already shelling out money to have a batch of paint mixed to spray your rollpan and bumper--therefore, it won't be much, if any, additional charge for the paint itself to spray the mirrors while they're at it. It'd go to waste otherwise. Of course, if you want to save money, you can prep the rollpan/bumper/mirrors before hand, so all they have to do is lay paint then the clearcoat. Otherwise, they'll have to prep the mirrors, along with the bumper and rollpan--a little extra on the labor, but not the paint itself.

If you DON'T paint the mirrors now, and later want to get 'em done, then you'll have to pay for a whole bucket of paint. This'lll be hella more expensive than painting them at the same time as the bumper and rollpan.

Just food for thought...

Definitly paint em' to match. I'm saving all my black stuff to be colored matched all at once whebn we get the truck painted:

1. Mirrors
2. valance
3. handles
4. smooth wiper cowl (with wiper holes)
5. maybe even the 2 small inserts in the chrome surround that my JBM Billet grill did not cover, that would b different I think?

Later and good luck with your decision, you'll make the right one that for you!
