Does anyone know what would be the largest tires you could fit on a Taco with 16" of lift without having them rub any? Thanks!

I'm planning on making this truck into a show truck. Something I can take to auto and truck shows. I don't really go off-roading much, and when I do it's usually just a drive through the woods on a dirt road, nothing big like rock climbing or anything. I was just wanting to put the biggest tires I could get on it. Thanks for your reply!

i'm sure you can fit 39 x 15.50's no problem, maybe even 44's

[b] if with a 12" lift you can fit 37" tires no prob.. then with a 16" you could get 39's easily under there. Maybe even some 42's.

OK, so if you've got 12" of lift and can fit 37"s, then with 16" of lift you will have 4" more clearance between fender and axle, so you can add 8" more of tires (4" over the axle, 4" under) so you know for sure you can fit 45" (37"+8") That would be SWEET! http://www.CustomTacos.com/ubbthreads/images/icons/smile.gif

I have 12.5" of lift and will be running 39.5's soon. I do not think I will rub at all with that. I really do not know how you could get 16" of lift except solid axle or modifying a suspension kit or 7" body lift or something like that. My truck is a show truck also. If somehow you got 16" of lift, you could run 44's no problem.
