Boshak 4x4 01-31-2004, 12:24 PM hey guys long time no post... i was just kinda curious how much on average you guys spend on new wheels and tires in total
i went to evan's tires today to get my dad's truck aligned so i decided to do some shopping for my truck. the dude said i could get 32's and the AR bajas for about a 1,000 including the 5 year warranty and free future alignment/balance/rotation. what you guys think??? anywhere else i get them cheaper from? thanks..

98madman 01-31-2004, 12:39 PM I got my wheels and tires for $875.00
American Racing AR-23 15X8 with 31X10.50R15 Procomp ATs
got this from 4 Wheel Parts
99TRDTaco 01-31-2004, 04:32 PM You might want to check www.4wheelparts.com (http://www.4wheelparts.com) they have competative prices and free shipping right now.
keniks 01-31-2004, 05:26 PM $1,000 sounds pretty good to me, depending on what tires you get. The free future balancing, etc. is something of worth also. Here they charge $80 for mounting & balancing. I'm not sure if Evan's is a local shop, but I'd support the local shop over 4 wheel parts anyday. Unfortunately for me, 4 wheel parts is the by far the cheapest around here, so I'm forced to go there. http://www.CustomTacos.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cry.gif
bstrd02 01-31-2004, 05:36 PM that sounds pretty good to me, especially the future balancing and rotation, alignmant. that would make it worth it if they hold true to it. around here mounting and balancing is $20 a tire, i rotate my own. i spent $925 at a local shop for 33X12.5 BFG muds, and 15X10 blk rock crawlers. i could have gotten them cheaper online, but i think that spending a bit more to support a local shop is better then just ordering online. you never know when you will need there help.

Boshak 4x4 01-31-2004, 07:55 PM i looked around on the 4wheelparts and after the weekend special my tires/wheels will be around $897. also that's just for this weekend. i still gotta come up with the money within sometime. another thing is that they have a crediting deal at evan's tires where you don't have to pay until next year without any interest. soooooo all in all the deal with this local store is sounding mighty tempting. thanks for all the input guys.

yeah it's pretty awesome because i know for sure they hold to it. i just took my dad's in for free future balancing and rotation. my dad told me he just goes in when his car starts to drift to the left or right or when his car starts vibrating like mad.

LongandLow96 02-17-2004, 03:14 PM Tires came on the truck 31 10.50 15's and a buddy gave me the wheels for free, now I just gotta get them put on. Hopefully I will have pics by the end of the week.
sincity4x4 02-17-2004, 09:36 PM I got my wheels from wheelers off road (http://www.wheelersoffroad.com) and I also have 32x11.5x15 BFG Mud Terrian. I paid $200 for wheels and $800 for tires. But I did get five wheels and tires so I could have a full size spare that matched. The $800 for tires included mounting, balancing, valve stems, and warranty.
**DONOTDELETE** 02-17-2004, 09:47 PM I get my tires for $73 each, plus $32 for the mounting, balancing, etc.
I only get 4 tho, because the spare is already the right size, and is just a spare.
