those with s/c or those that have had them

just wondering if there is anything i should know from those w/ firsthand experience with a s/c.. it'll be my first one (it'll be on a 3.4L 4x4).

i probably won't get a header, exhaust, or an intake right away but i was curious if i should have to worry much about maintenance or if i should be concerned about upgrading brakes, etc? thanks for the info.
