bizarre tire wear on new tacoma

i recently got 3000 miles on my 2wd standard cab. 2002 tacoma and i notices something about the wear of the tires... the outside part (about 1 inch) of the tire tread is pointed up and slightly back and it is not bald... why is this? this is on both of the front tires is this normal wear? my dad says that it might be somehow related to the shocks... he's not sure but thats his best guess. any clues... cuz i am about to take it back to the dealer to have it inspected.

It is most likely nothing. If you take corners to fast your tires tend to get that wear.

Check your toe in, that might be off if not then slow down on the corners, the shocks don't have anything to do with that, just your alignment.
