i have a 2003 tacoma, it is 2wd, and i want to install the fabtech 3in lift kit, that will fit a max 30in tires with a max 15x7 rims, but i was wondering if i would be able to install 15x8 rims, i know that it is stated to be a max of 15x7 but wht can/will go wrong if i choose to install 15x8 rims instead? thanks for the help

The 7" maximum width limit you mentioned is probably related to rubbing issues. On lowered 5-lug Tacos, going past a 7" width is getting into the zone where rubbing issues become a factor.

o ok. i just thought that the 7" max was there because wider would create issues with suspension geometry and travel. thankyou for the advice though
