I'm not really into flares at all but I do think they look pretty dope on your truck. I have to agree about not color matching them too. Nice contrast. I've always loved two tone paint jobs. The full side shot pic made me wonder what it would look like if you went black all along the topsides (roof, pillars, lid... hood's already dark CF so that's cool) My friends' '37 flatback ford coupe has that tuxedo two tone, 'cept it's black and dark olive green, it's one of the Budnik rim cars, you may have seen it at a goodguy's show or the rim brochure. Looks great. I personally think that you should get a rollpan, color match your front bumper & flares, and step out your Racing Hart's via spacers. It's hard for me to imagine that any turbo Tacoma could look good with the chrome package, I'm impressed. Well done.

As for getting a roll pan, I'm not interested in getting one right now. With LA traffic i need the rearend protection. Just a couple of weeks ago i got bumped at a stop light http://www.CustomTacos.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cussing.gif. Thanks to the rear bumper there was no damage. Besides if i get a roll pan i have to redo my exhaust.

what was the locker originally made for? the front of a 4x4 tacoma?? how much noise does it make and how does the truck handle with it in there now?? how are right hand turns and such? and yeah, the muffler would need a little rework to fit if you put on a roll pan. i cant wait to have mine done. i found just the right spot for it under the bed.

i asked because i thought you said it was the front locker for a 4x4 and so i was thinking if a locker for the front works then the lsd for the front would also work and i woul order one right now... if not i am ordering my lsd from a supra real soon.

I wouldn't make the wheels stick out too much. Otherwise it would start looking like the new Frontiers. We don't want that. The flares look great though. I'm digging the two tone look as well. I like more of the classy look than the exotic look, and your truck looks like it is all class. P.S. I just wanted to say that in some of the pics, it just looks like you have unusually large fenderwells. Made the wheels look much smaller. You need 18s or 19s....

The flares definately makes it look like the wheel wells are bigger.
My M5s are 18s with 225/40/18 tires.
