Will they fit?

they will fit, but the backspacing on the rims are 5.5" as compared to 4.5" for earlier tacos so they will be tucked in 1" more. a street tire will fit, when you go to a mud tire with lugs, they may hit the upper control arms and possibly frame.

I have 17" TRD Sport rims on my 2000. The stock size 265/65-17 tires had no problems, but when increased to the next size (265/70-17) there was rubbing in front on the frame and the steering knuckle. Had to use 1/4" hub-centric spacers, but gained 1/2" in height. They do look nice though. I bought the whole set for $50.

x2 I have 265/70/16 Yokohama HT/S tires and any bigger it would hit the UCA.
