Need help with wheel spacers!

I have a 2003 Toyota Tacoma PreRunner and I have recently ordered a 2" Leveling kit. I want to put 265/70/R17s with KMC XD Series Revolver Wheels on my Tacoma. I want to know what a good looking tire is. Also, I wanted my tire to stick out some to make them look wider and I was wondering what size spacer I should use. Can I please get some feedback on some good tires and how wide of a spacer I should use.

Sorry to rain on your parade but spacers are bad news. But if you ignore what I say look for hub-centric wheel spacers. Make sure they are thick and strong! And well balanced. If not they could lead to some serious vibration which could later effect a lot of components.

I'm sure those wheels you want come in a big positive offset so you could get that wider tire without the danger of wheel spacers.

I have brand new Nitto Dura Grappler's on my Taco (265/70R16's). All their truck tire models come in wide sizes. They are not as quiet as my previous Michelin LTX M+S but they are good for the road. Off-roading even in loose gravel sucks though. If you wanted a good road tire that are quiet, sticky, good in everything spend the extra coin and get some Michelin's.

Fender flares too!

Just my 2 cents,

Scott

Good luck with your tire + wheel combo find

Spacers don't make the tire look wider. Wider tires make it look wider. That, and wheels in the right width and offset. There are spacers for special applications, made from billet aluminum with new studs in them, but they're usually about $150-$200 a pair (2). Sometimes more. I do not recommend them for what you are trying to do. I recommend getting the right wheels and tires get the look you want.

look for a 4" backspaced and 8" wide rim. that should do it.
