what is the bare minimum to run 35's

just curious, whats the minimum amount of lift to fit some 35's tires on a tacoma??

i know the recommended lift is 6 for 35 but has anyone passed with less?

Probably 5 inches with a lot of trimming but dont plan on wheeling it without the tires rubbing.

Don't forget to regear for the tires.

number one is 6in left is just to big for my liking and
number 2 i just dont want to re-gear my truck.

Yeah you will have to regear with 35s, but anything is possible. You could fit 35s with no lift, depends on how much you want to cut. I know a guy with 2" suspension lift and 1" body that runs 35s.
