I have been talking with a huge vendor that has taken interest in obtaining coilover sets for our XRs. Talked with him for an hour and a half. Searching the internet and calling coilover producers. I will probably be installing the prototype set here soon. Not sure but looks very possible. If you are interested please speak up. :waytogo:

The vendor will be watching this thread to see if it is worth the hassle.

why wouldnt it? the djm drop doesnt effect the struts/springs on the stock setup at all, why would it effect the coilovers?

Tony who works with DJM was trying to get something done about this also. He does alot of setups for the SS trailblazers and thinks he could do something for ours too. He posted up on here a while back trying to be a vendor havent checked to see if he is although hes a vendor on XRU

well obviously not all the x-runner owners are members here.

You will have to start a thread at xr-u.com about this in order for the "vendor" to wonder if it is worth the hassle.

will these work with a DJM drop?Sorry I did not post back to ya earlier but I hate surfing and posting on the I-Phone. Loads slow and to small of a keyboard compared to my super sonic desktop. Yes I do not see a problem with the DJM.

why wouldnt it? the djm drop doesnt effect the struts/springs on the stock setup at all, why would it effect the coilovers? Thanks for the input.

definitely interested. i would drop money in a heartbeat.

spread the word people. we NEED these. :waytogo:

Maybe disclosing a company name would help out.. Big company? small company?Huge company. But by the turnout in this thread it seems that as usual it is a bunch of lookers. I don't know how many times I have read " Hell yea coilovers FTW yea yea let's do it " so now we have a huge vendor willing to get this in motion and now it looks like mommy and daddy have cut back on their weekly allowance.:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes: Oh well I will just pay for some one offs and screw the kiddies.

no no no. no probably, definitely. my truck only sits an inch higher STOCK because the XR's come with de-arced leaf springs and a shorter spring up front. anything that bolts onto an X-Runner will fit on my truck. i know this because i've done so to my truck (and i bet i could out handle your weak azz truck:cool::D). no modifications required.

oh and don't worry about the lookers. they will buy eventually once they see how much people are going to like these....pending it happening of course.

i know there are A LOT of guys that have been waiting for coilovers for quiet some time. if they're made they'll definitely be a hot item.

i am not gonna post on xr-u because i have no information on this coilovers etc.

post this on xr-u and tacomaworld.

Whats the price range like? I think the big issue if u go with a 2" drop is getting alignment in spec. Would this be issue with coil overs?
