96 2wd cov. 96 4wd

I was wondering what I will need in order to convert my 96 2wd tacoma front end to 96 4wd front end.

I know I will need fenders, bumper, signal lights, valance, and grill.
Do I need a hood or can I use my 2wd hood? Thanks

you can use the same hood, I believe you'll also need the bumper supports but with your year I am not totally sure.. :thinking:

Any update on if I can use the 2wd hood?
Also, how about if I switch to the 4runner front end w/ hood scoop.
What will I need? Would I have to change bumper brackets?

yes and yes.. their are lots of guys on here that can give you a more detailed description on the 4runner conversion but you have to at minimum have the brackets.

Ok last question I found all the parts for cheap.
But, wondering if it mattered what year 4wd fenders I get for
a 96 4wd front end?

What I mean is can I get 4wd fenders off of an 98 and use
them with my 96 4wd front end?
