Im gonna be calling some junkyards soon to get parts for and 01-04 front end swap. I just have to see if my friends brothers gonna paint my truck for me.
Still not decided if im gonna get the core support since i read on here i can modify the current one...but is there a difference between 2wd and 4wd fenders for 01-04?
and of course, any other hints and advice would be very very helpfull...

yes i searched on here, but in case anyones done it recently and can offer advice....

No - there is no difference between 2WD and 4WD (5-lug and 6-lug) fenders in the 2001 - 2004 generation.

Its pretty much straight forward. The core support is kind of a pain to modify but me and my influenced (:drinking:) friends figured it out in about an hour. The whole deal only took about an hour and 45 minutes or so, and a lot of it was trying to figure out where to cut the rad support for the headlights to fit.

PS. good luck with the parts hunt, the only things I could find used was the headlights and corner lights. I had to buy everthing else new aftermarket.

Go to certifit.com and see if they have a place near you. They will have all the parts you need for way cheaper than a junkyard. They usually need to be tweaked a little, but worth it for the amount of money you save!
