Well guys I think I'm gonna do it, I'm putting my taco up for sale pending my approval. This does have a loan out on it so I will have to get the title from the bank when it is sold. Also I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE SALE AT ANY TIME, TO ANYONE FOR ANY REASON...if you don't like it...too bad. I'm just gonna throw a few pictures up for now I'll take more soon it's raining and blowing 50mph outside right now so not a good time for pictures. Excuse the fact that she's kinda dirty in some of the pics they're just what I have on the computer.
Year: 2000
Color: Lunar Mist
Mileage: ~101,000 (it's the DD so will vary)
Engine: 2rz 2.4L DOHC
Transmission: 5 spd manual
Location: Hays, KS
This is a pretty clean truck with a good looking frame despite being an '00 it only has very minimal rust and it's just surface rust at that. I bought this truck about two years ago with 83k on the clock, it has run flawlessly ever since and I have never had any mechanical problems. It has always been well taken care of since I've had it. I DO NOT beat the living hell out of it, I've never been on the rev limiter, it does not go to the track, ever, not even to watch buddies race. The only thing it's ever towed is a small pickup bed trailer for about 15 miles and that's it. It has plug in trailer lights (no cutting on the stock harness) and a trailer ball on the stock bumper. I had plans to turbo it which never went through so the motor is still stock aside from removing the airbox elbow and a DT header (I have the elbow and stock manifold in my garage). It has original alloy wheels, newer tires (about 50% remaining front, 75% back), brakes on the front were done ~10k ago and work well. Oil was just changed last week, and has a brand new (as of 4 days ago) Autocraft Titanium battery. I also replaced the shocks about two years ago right after I got it with some basic Monroe shocks, nothing fancy but it improved the ride quality as it still had the stock ones on. Also has tach in dash, digital ODO, and bucket seats. A/C blows cold in the summer, heat will defrost your windows for you in the winter even when it's well below freezing (anyone in my area can vouch for what it can get down to in the winter). I've gotten 32mpg with it highway and never less than 20mpg in the city. Never had any problems driving it in the snow or anything it does just fine for me I'm not a daredevil nor am I dumb so I don't go out and try to wheel in a stock 5lug truck, within reason it really does alright. Also I will note that the shift knob is the wrong color for the truck. I do not know the story on this, it was that way when I bought it, I wanted it because it was a stepside and the shift knob seemed minor to me.
Also if anyone is interested I may also be selling my 1959 Chevrolet Biscayne 4dr project. I will throw a crappy pic of it in here too and if anyone wants more they can PM me.
If you have any questions you can PM me or contact me at billangle@hotmail.com.
Yes I will take better pictures just as soon as I get a chance, yes I will clean it, these were taken when I was working full time so it's a little dirty.
ASKING $8,000 OBO!!
