Redline Tuning (http://www.redlinetuning.com/) sells a wide range of hood QuickLift systems that allow you to ditch your factory hood prop rod. The kit converts your hood to be supported by gas shocks, leaving your engine compartment more accessible and better-looking.

At Tacoberfest, we'll be performing a QuickLift install on a 2004 Tacoma and then giving away a complete QuickLift kit to one lucky participant during our raffle drawing Saturday evening at dinner.

I do not think they are coming. They "sponsored" the event by donating some products and will probably offer a Tacoberfest discount if you order. However, I may be wrong and they might send a rep..

Unfortunately, they're not sending a rep as of now. But you can always contact Brian and ask him questions: sales@redlinetuning.com.

We'll be installing a kit and then giving away a kit. We'll also have some marketing materials about their products.

well i will give you this tit bit of info when installing the shocks for the hood on a 05 tacoma it want work if you got a volant cold air intake. trust me been there and done that

How about notching the volant box?

i thought about that but i think the filter is going to get in the way but not sure of it. i just could see cutting the box to make it fit. i'm just going to install the shocks on my gf 06 tacoma. i just wanted to let yall know that it want work if you got a volant intake, but thanks for the idea
