Want a lil drop and keep your factory ride????
*** 17+" WHEELS REQUIRED ***
05-08 Tacoma 2wd FRONT DROP KIT 1.25".
Front Drop kit includes:
(4) 1.25" spacers made from DOM Steel Pipe 1/4 wall . I custom machine these. Both surfaces are faced and the I.D. is drilled to perfectly sleeve the O.D. of the 16mm bolt.
(4)10.9 Hi-Grade hardened bolts & washers (factory strength)
Red Loctite included and of course instructions that will walk you through the install with torque specs.
*** 10.9 Bolts/washers and DOM Steel are VERY STRONG MATERIALS. Believe it or not this stuff is "special order" most places you go and pretty expensive.***
J&J Front Drop Kits are strong, proven and simple. This design is shorter than"other kits" that had allignment issues. J&J Drop Kits allows more adjustment for camber. I was able to allign my truck with -.025 negitive camber (perfect).
J&J Front Frop Kit acts like a drop spindle and does not limit upward wheel travel... long story you are keeping factory spring rate AND wheel travel!
A "drop spring" will give you less "immediate upward" wheel travel (you hit your bump stop faster) and the compensation is a stronger spring rate (stiff ride)..... not what I prefer :)
"MY" 062WD access cab ended up .25" lower in the front when I installed 2" rear blocks See Pics.
