I was planning on putting a 2-3 inch suspension lift on my 03 regular cab prerunner. What are the negative effects of installing a lift on my tacoma? When I lifted my 4x4 nissan I ran into all sorts of problems. My tie rods, balljoints and centerlink craped out real quick, the ride was horrible, hard to align,and decreased my already sh!tty handling and articulation. This is my first toyota and have no experience with them at all. All i know is they are reliable and kick a$$ offroad.

well it all depends on the type of lift you get. i have a body lift on mine with no problems what so ever, and i have heard putting a suspension lift on your truck can actually make the ride smother depending on the type of lift you get. i am putting a 6 inch trail master on my truck within the next few months, i heard from several people that they are awesome. i am sure more people will post here shortly with more knowledge then me. i am just giving you my 2 cents

I was talkin about either a coil spacer or bigger coil lift. Anyone else that has a spacer or coil lift want to jump in here.
