If your exhaust is opened too much it whine like a lil jap whore... Ok maybe not like a honda with a cherrry bomb but they do rattle a little. Thats why I have headers and stock muffler until boosted.

I opted for the Magnaflow cat back with the 18" muffler. Sounds good, but I would actually prefer it to be a bit louder still.

Maybe I'll go that route too. Have the 18" cut out and have a 14" put in. Maybe that will give me the extra little volume I was expecting.

I agree with ya megabitez,sometimes I wonder at the statements some of the fellow Xrunner owners make in regards to our trucks be ricer or thats so ricer,well, duh "TOYO TA IS NOT AN AMERICAN NAME DUDES .the company is japenese designed by japenese people ,so your inference to japenese as ricers is correct ! YES you own a ricer vehicle,so either accept it or sell it and buy something american like the "heartbreak of america".:lol:

I think the only american made vehicle I would even consider buying right now is one of the new 6.0 GTO's. A group of 3 of them blew past me on the way to Ocean City last week. They look pretty "BadAzz" and seem like they are a rocket on wheels.

dude you just described ricer. Thats how we meant it. When I am on the phone and I gun it people exclaim "is that your truck?wow" so our trucks aren't bad unless your gently lofting above 4k with a 3" system. People are just too used to v8's and so many many many many mustangs

my hearing is impaired somewhat, but I know that with my magnaflow and headers my exhaust doesn't sound anything like a honda with the fartcan exhaust sound, now wheather other people think it does is a personal thing which I'm not going to lose sleep over at night.:lol:
