What brand and model do you use? The Pirelli P3000's i have now aren't really that great and the ride comfort sucks. Could it be that its a passenger tire and not a truck/suv tire? I need a 225/55-16 tire. Whats my best bet?

i have the new bridgstones on my truck they are turanza's ride is great and it sticks to the ground like glue. they are a little expensive though 160 a piece for mine and they were 215/55 R 15 so I don't know how much for 16's but paradas are kool and falkens are a good ride rode one with my friends trecel that is dropped to hell and bouncey I think it was the suspension it is a drift car so it did not matter but those tires gripped better than mine!!!!! http://www.CustomTacos.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/burnout.gif

Do you know if his Falkens are the Ziex or GR Beta series?
Tires.com has them.

National Ovation's... 225/55/16's Awesome all-around tire, insane treadwear and load ratings, great all-around tire, and at a decent price too.

Kumho Ecsta STX 265/60/18
Ride is really smooth, and quiet on the highway. Cornering is better than I expected it to be. Very good grip, and very predictable at the limit.
I have'nt quite figured out the best pressure for good straight-line launches, but I know it's going to be alot less than what works best for cornering!!

Kumho Ecsta 225/40/18.....i like the tread pattern, price is definately right, and they are pretty grippy without sacrificing treadwear life....they are a little loud on the road, but my exhaust drowns that out for me http://www.CustomTacos.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

It all depends on what kind of driving you do. I'm running nitto nt-555 ... I drive the hell out of them and they stick to the road like glue.
