1-27-08 Tacoma Meet Pics

So this Sunday 1-27 was the first New England Tacoma meet of 2008.

Leaving my house I saw flurries in the sky, but the roads were clear enough to drive. Then again, what's a winter New England meet without a little snow?

The meet was scheduled @ F1boston, which is the only indoor racetrack in Mass. I got there a few minutes before 3PM

Before going in, there was a parking-lot photo shoot for all the people that showed up.

F1boston is a pretty clean and well organized place. The cost was $10 for a day license, then $28 for the first 15 laps on the city course.

By the end of the day I had done over 45 laps and was flagged for reckles driving twice :evil:

Overall, I'd have to say it was the most fun I've had at a Tacoma meet.....by myself. :selfbonk:

I truly feel your pain.. Especially after going back thru the original thread and seeing what may have been a 5-7 Tacoma meet. But keep your chin up.. I've done it.. Drove from here all the way up to Mass/Vermont line for a Frontier meet, and after deciding just to enjoy the day did manage to get another Fronty to stop by while we were grilling burgers.. So it happens.. Some would consider it a day wasted, I always looked at it as a day off.. Regardless you had fun.. Tell you what, sign up for Tacoberfest and I'll guarantee you, that you will not be the only one going..

I never saw a list go up. it would of been a 3 hour drive for me (but I love gokarts) That place is the suppler of our CRG karts on the East coast, we are in the top 10 in sales...:headbang:

I'm not at all upset...I do know how hard it is to get people to come to meets...and I had a great time doing laps on the track anyways

there is another indoor track in Mass. sadly it's all electric cars and no where near as much fun as F1.
