Are there any of you in the SoCal area interested in a night a the Irwindale 8th mile strip on a Thursday Test & Tune night? I get the urge every so often and for 20 bucks, it's a great evening to see just how quick your truck really is.

If I can get over this darn cold I contacted while at SEMA last week, I'll be at Irwindale this coming Thursday with my SC'd XRunner. I usually try to get there early so I can be 1st in line when they start running at 5:00 PM>

Due to a really nasty cold that I picked up at SEMA last week, the doc says I should postpone Irwindale for a week. See ya there on the 15th.

Sorry if this went out twice:
I've only had my XRunner at Irwindale once and in the 8th it ran a best of
9.257 sec @ 76 mph with a 60' time of 2.04 sec
For comparison, my Corvette runs
7.276 sec @ 97 mph with a 60' time of 1.64 sec This is as quick as they will let me go without a rollbar.

An early prototype supercharger with an early calibration. Traction and a balky transmission slowed things down a bit.

If memory serves me, they open the gates at 4:00 PM along with the Tech line. The 1st run usually goes off right at 5:00 PM. Twenty bucks to run or ten to watch.
