I did my first oil change on my taco a few months back and it was successful. However, I now want to do my girls' honda. They are jerking us around at shops wanting between 25-35 just to put in filter if we supply the mobil 1. I was wondering where the oil filter is located on the v6, and if i have to jack it up. I definately am not going to jack it up, and will take it to the shop if need be. So, I was thinking I could park it at an angle on the curb/driveway to access the filter and drain plug. Any help would be appreciated

well, i have no experience doing it...im kind of afraid :(....my sister got some hydraulic jack, but ive never used one
Since I have a '07 accord... the oil filter is located above the oil pan.
So, you will need to jack the front end to get under the car. The oil filter is a bit tricky. Once you unscrew the filter out, the oil inside the filter will leak out and all over your hand, the middle frame bar, and the exhaust. If this happens, you want to clean it up good so you don't be smelling oil burning for a while.
Good luck.

that's why i was thinking of just propping the car on the driveway (you know, from street level to my driveway) in a manner that i can reach the filter and plug

I can't do my truck without jacking the front end up, so I can't imagine how you can manage with an accord. Anyway, jackstands are a must, do not ever get underneath a car supported by only a jack. The best way to do it (if your car's frame setup allows it) is to lift it up centrally with one jack, and then set up 2 jack stands, one on each side of the frame. Exactly where they go depends on your car's setup. Look underneath your car, if you have a frame crossmember that goes from one side of the frame to the other (most cars do), you can use that to lift, and the main frame members for jack stands.

If you don't know how to use a jack I'm not so sure you should be doing an oil change by yourself. Yes on a 95 you'll have to jack it up. Just pay the $20 to get it done.

x2, pay you cheap ass.
if your to lazy to jack up the car your gonna be too lazy to dispose of the waste oil properly or clean the awful mess your gonna make.
