That's really good man. You might be able to shave a tenth of your 60'. That would be my worsst times with the SC so you're doing very well. Automatic right? Prerunner?

what's the elevation there? At sea level, you should be able to hit mid to low 15s with that setup. Not too bad for your first time at the track though.

with my 4 banger.. i'm hitting 16.5. but my FIRST run i won't even post. i even fouled on it. you'll get better as you go. did you say it was auto? was that your only run, or just the best run? watch some of the others around you when your stageing cause you can learn alot of neat little tricks to help you out.

That's a really good run... the first time I ran I hit a 16.2, but then I went to Skip Barbour Racing school... from there my time ran faster and faster... down to 15.7 something... then I said let's get some nitrous.... and that magically shrunk my quarter... slicks helped too... Keep it up... bro you'll laughing at your time 6 mos from now when your busting mid 15's

yep, the fact that your are both prerunner (heavier) and automatic is hurting you.

Guys its a 5speed V6 2wd. Like srunner. Good for your first run but you can definately bring it down to mid 15's. Keep working on your launch, also How is it to launch with the LSD?

Sam- get off yer rear and install the LSD! It's a beautiful thing to just keep your foot planted when the tires slip then grab. The LSD dropeed my 1/4 from 14.9 on drag radials to 14.7 on street tires.

Re: 1/4 mile time... good or bad?

I just didn't know you could get a v6 w stick and 2wd without it being a SR, that's why I wondered cuz I was assuming it was the same truck I gots. I hear SRs do the 1/4 in mid 15s??? The curse of the automatic... That's the big difference there. Mine weighs 200 lbs more I think?

I've been tempted for a while to buy a reg cab 2wd and swap my motor, SC, Leather, dash, doors, etc. into it, and a manual of coarse! Then sell my prerunner with the 4cyl and interior out of the other truck to cover the costs. That would prolly knock a sec off my ET. Instead of swapping motors, swap trucks...

That would be sick.
