Re: 2003 SRunner

Back up for sale. I can't have a 2wd in the winter where I live at. Mileage is at 121K currently. Price is still $8500

[QUOTE=crazydawgb; I can't have a 2wd in the winter where I live at.

-Benji[/QUOTE] Sure you can. You are in a mild 4 season area. Just go down to Home Depot and get about 300 lb of gravel in bags and put them back by the tailgate and drive it easy when it snows. That will give you some weight for traction and you can throw some gravel under the wheel if you need it. I've driven my S/R every winter for the past 10 years in a similar climate. Mine is boosted and has LSD which makes it a bit more touchy. I have to really be careful with the throttle or I'm doing 360s when it's slick out.

Re: 2003 SRunner

You can drive a 2wd truck in the winter on snow & ice but you have to know how to drive it & some snow tires with studs & like he said put some weight in the back for traction. It might not be a lot of fun but it can be done.
