Re: 97 Tacoma lowered front camber kit

What's been done to get you 2" drop? (Be specific ... )

Is your problem positive or negative camber?

This camber kit you got - what are the specifics on it? Is it a set of U-shaped shims? If so - check out the basic info in this 2009 thread:

Re: 97 Tacoma lowered front camber kit

The camber correction (positive or negative) for 95-04 5 lug tacomas is achieved by adding or removing shims on the upper control arm mounting points.

You can also install longer upper control arms to help with negative camber. Like Enola said, what camber kit do you have? Pics of that would help a lot.

Its a negative camber, in the process as we speak of changing upper n bottom ball joints, shocks n wheel hub bearings. Also will be installing new tires. Previous owner mention a 3" drop via cutting front springs

Also cked and there is no shims on upper control arm. Camber was only on driver side.
