Possible leaf spring and suspension upgrades

Hi,

I have a 1998 2wd 5 lug Tacoma. The leafs springs need to be replaced. I wonder where I can get these. I also wonder what else I could do to beef it up a bit while I'm at it. Replace the front springs as well? Probably looking for stock or a bit above stock. I would consider going up to 15" rims. I can't get the BFG A/Ts for my 14" anymore. I would prefer not to go up in tire size so much that I need to change gearing. I've had a few other 4X4 Toyotas and am seeing that suspension parts are not as widely available for these trucks.

Thanks

18-1202 Prothane Strut Rod bushings. I'll post a pic of them tomorrow after work. I haven't installed them yet.

Re: Possible leaf spring and suspension upgrades

Pressed out the stock bushing and installed the prothane bushings. I happen to have a socket the same size as the bushing.

My truck is 20 years old. Most of the bushings are soft and the upper control arms are ripped. Instead of pressing out each bushing, i just bought complete upper and lower control arms from Rockauto. It'll save me a lot of time. I will be installing new Moog lower BJ and new tie rods as well.
