Can you paint the black stock fender flares?? I want to paint mine the color of my truck

you can paint any part of that truck you want, its just how you prep is what changes.....

sand texture off with 150, prime sand with 220, reprime, sand with 400 wet
reprime sand with 800 wet.........use guide coat it is your friend in each sanding..........spray the base spray the clear call it a day

Any reputable paint shop can get you a factory color. Some places offer factory colors in rattle cans also.

yeah go to a body shop tell them you need a color match, give em your gas door they'll play the color match game :-D, PLEASE midnightxrunner can back me up on this, dont rattle can ANYTHING its hell

But yea, good idea. I don't like it when the fender flares are not painting...looks "unfinished"...but seriously that comes with a package with the truck from the dealership right? What package does that come from and how much more money would it cost? But seriously, the package should be included with every taco and nobody should have the option of choosing whether or not the fender flares should match the color of the body. Just a thought

Not 100% sure, but if i can remember correctly, you could get a color key package on the 01-04. For the 05-08 it was part of the SR5 packages i think..

no spray can paint, EVER on a real car... the silver should be pretty easy to match. just follow tacomacalistudmuffinbuttercup hahahaha.
