P cont and Ant Cont wires kenwood HU

New kenwood head unit. (MP 828).

I think the P cont is Power Control for Remote turn on of amp, right?

What about the Ant Cont? I think this is supposed to be for power antennas, but I don't have one.
I hooked up everything else, and it works, but FM signal low. Should this wire be hooked up to 12vdc for an antenna boost?

Please help

yes, Ant Cont is for the motor of a power antenna, and you have the amp remote correct. both put out 12 vdc. P Con whenever the unit is on, Ant Con when the radio is on.
there is no hookups to improve your FM signal. either you are in a bad spot for FM, or your antenna is not very good.
