Re: tacoma headliner

Bowhung will have about 4 or 5 seams going across the roof and will give a good bit if you push on it...i think theyre in most std cabs...im pretty sure theyre in all 95-96 std cabs but im not sure about the other models. I think the others are fabric or vinyl glued to a thin board thing.i have no idea about these because i dont have an extended cab nor messed with any...but i can help ya out if its bowhung

Re: tacoma headliner

Take the rubber seals off the doors and peel back the headliner...i think it might be glued, but itll come off. Then carefully pry back the back window seal and pull it away just like around the windows, now the only thing holding it up are the bows...just push them so they arch towards the roof and pull the end out of one side...do that to the rest and it will be all off except for the very front by the windshield...theres screws that hold that on but you shouldnt need to take it off if your just deadening the roof.

Re: tacoma headliner

I just remembered..you need to take off the plastic pieces near the corner of the cab where the seatbelt pivot thing is, because under that the headliner in connected to a plastic piece which is snapped on
