3 wheel motion

I saw on the techidemics streettrucks, some dude 3 wheelin' around a corner. I have been told all you have to do is drop your rear corner and hit a turn at a decient speed and the front corner will come up.
Is this true? and if it is how bad is in on your rims? (scuffs, beadbreakin)

Re: 3 wheel motion

you need to have quite a bit of weight in the rear on a pickup to hit front side 3-wheel, shouldn't be bad on wheels or tires too much

Re: 3 wheel motion

probably has a strap on that corner keeping it at a certain drop the wheel can go. if you had air cylinders you could do it. i know if u tie down 1 side of the rear and i dunno, arrange the corner you could park it dogleg...i tried, but i get crappy lift so it didnt work too well haha.

Re: 3 wheel motion

The old 1968-76 BMW 2002's used to lift a rear wheel in a corner.
Anyone with a NITRO R/C car can tell you how to do it. I believe you need to make the front suspension very soft and the rear stiff to lift a rear tire. So the opposite would lift the front.

ummmm ok it depends on what psi you are running. you may need to run nitrogen in order to get the lift. just lock all 4 corners up then drop 1 and you should be able to roll on 3 wheels.

Re: 3 wheel motion

before turning a hard left u have the front left corner down all the rest up then as you turn hit the left front corner up and the right rear down and it will get the wheel up pretty high
