I've got a bead on a 99 4 runner with blown motor. Guy wants 800 for it. I need a new front end again due to deer also wanna swap seats and console in. My question is, is this a straight forward swap? I did coresupport and all myself first go around. I'm a diesel tech so not scared to jump in. Just curious if it can be done.
I did the 4Runner front swap on my 97 Tacoma back in 99. I diidnt even change the core support..just modded it where needed. Bumper brackets are not direct bolt on..they will need a little drilling and slotting to get aligned right but easy. And a/c drier needs to be relocated..but otherwise it's a bolt on deal. I think you'll find fitting the 4Runner seats harder than swapping front ends LOL
Well I need core support again lol. Thinking about using everything from cab to front bumper on mine. Inner fenders and all. How much modifications to the seats are needed
